I am still in Colorado but should be leaving soon. I'm new to fountain pens although I used them a lot when I was younger. At that time my issue was with the ink leaking.
The ones I have now are really nice and I have not experienced any issues. The Twsbi cap seals well and I think that helps prevent the ink from drying out.
I do think they take a bit more maintanence. I generally make a few notes most every day so maybe I don't see that issue. Maybe a different ink might help?

I do think the pens need to be used daily, but I don't always get that done. Consequently the issues. I guess I will need to be more diligent in the future with them, if I'm going to keep them workable.
