You get paid the same way with upvotes giving you a share of the rewards pool. I think that the only front end that works currently is https://blurt.blog/
You should be able to use your same keys that you do for Hive. I use the WhaleVault browser extension to store the private keys.
There was some talk about removing older accounts that had not been active but as far as I know that has not been done as yet. There are still some exchange accounts that have not been forthright about distributing funds to owners after the initial air drop and that was a bit of a concern.
It does look like your account is still there with some funds.

Thank you for checking! When I tried posting content that i had posted here, when i was posting daily, they told me i couldnt post it. :/ They wanted original content.
I'm not sure who told you that but so far they seem fine with my posting content that I have duplicated on other blockchains. If you ask me it is helpful for all three of the blockchains but opinions do differ.
In any case Steemit is the only place I seem to be attracting a few downvotes. I'm not sure if my shameless cross-posting is the reason though, lol.
I will bet it is. If I posted over there, they would downvote me here!
