Luego volví a pararme, fui a bañarme y me vestí.
No me atropelló.
Today I woke up feeling very sleepy 😴 to train. I trained, but my bed called me and I fell back down. Then I got back up, went to shower, and got dressed. I decided to leave early!
Instead of my usual route, I hopped on a bus that runs on a different route, just to see how long it would take to get to the stop near work. The answer: it took almost an hour, 45 minutes to be exact! 😩 I arrived quite late, but at least my curiosity was satisfied.
The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy! 🤯
Before I continue, I have to tell you the most epic part: today I woke up feeling like I was going to get run over! And guess what... It almost happened!
Before I got to the stop, I tried to cross a street. I was passing, but the car in front of me sped up out of nowhere and crossed right into my direction. My entire left side went numb waiting for the impact 😱, but my right side propelled forward, and just barely! He missed me.
The man apologized and told me he hit the gas because he was arguing with his wife and didn't see me. 🤦♂️ I just told him, "Well, sir, don't argue when you're driving." It would be the second time I've been hit because the driver was arguing with his partner. Incredible! Thank God I was paying attention, because when I get that feeling, it never fails. This time I was able to avoid it! 🙌
Mission: Ferraca Building 🕵️♂️
Once at work, they sent me somewhere to deliver some paperwork. I asked, "Which place?" And they told me, "I don't know, ask the accountant." The accountant told me, "I don't know, ask in a building called Ferraca and ask for the Technology Foundation." The thing is... I didn't even know where "Ferraca" was! 🤷♂️
I asked the warehouse guy to take me on the manager's motorcycle. He didn't know either, but my super-smart mind 🧠 said, "Use the GPS!" We blindly trusted the GPS, which led us to a building that looked abandoned and was really creepy. 👻
I was about to tell them to turn around, but we kept going! Behind the building were some branches or offices of basic companies. I asked around like a little kid 👦, but the people were very kind. They told me the Foundation was in the building next door, but there the secretary gave me the reality check: those people "hardly even work," that they weren't coming today, that they wouldn't come tomorrow either, but maybe they would on Monday. 😒
Well, that's the end of my mission! I headed back to the company with the paperwork in hand. After all that, my day was normal and peaceful.
I survived the street and the GPS!
And that's all for today, my dear Hive readers. Beware of abandoned cars and buildings! 😉
