¡Mi gente! Hoy la jornada comenzó con la disciplina a tope. Me paré temprano, hice mi rutina matutina en el porche (¡la base no se negocia! 🏋️♀️), me fui a bañar, me vestí, y salí caminando directo a la parada. Todo iba según el plan del guerrero... hasta que el bus decidió que el transporte público hoy era un challenge de Strongman.
La Batalla de la Mañana y el Banco 🚌💸
El bus llegó llenísimo, como si estuviera viajando todo el país entero. Pero me monté, hice la presión adecuada para asegurar mi lugar, y, ¡milagro!, llegué justo dos minutos antes de las 8 a.m. ⏱️ ¡Victoria por photo finish!
Me puse a trabajar a mil por hora. Cerca del mediodía, tuve que hacer una misión de alto riesgo: ir al Banco de Venezuela más cercano. ¡Toca sacar el efectivo para el pasaje de la quincena! No hay nada más estresante que enfrentarse a la fila del banco con el tiempo limitado del almuerzo. Regresé a la empresa, comí rapidito (un combustible esencial) y seguí pegado a la pantalla.
Detectives, Café y Sangre 🔎🩸
La tarde se puso de detectives, ¡pero sin gloria! El gerente y yo perdimos un buen rato buscando un documento personal del dueño, convencidos de que "un día lo dejó aquí." Revisamos cada rincón, movimos papeles, miramos debajo del escritorio y... ¡ni pista de ese documento! 🤦♂️ El gerente con sus ocurrencias... Tuvimos que rendirnos ante el misterio del papel desaparecido.
Y como si yo no estuviera ocupado con esa cacería y el resto de mi trabajo, ¡me tocó hacer los pagos! Cuando los demás andan full de actividades, el trabajo administrativo cae en mí. Así se fue el día: pegado a la pantalla de la PC, con los ojos secos, casi lagrimeando una mezcla de sangre, café y papeleo. Estuve elaborando oficio tras oficio para crear cuentas de clientes y sacar la documentación que tenemos que entregar a proveedores grandes para ser aceptados. ¡Una burla burocrática! 😵💫
Pero la disciplina se impuso. Cansado, pero con las tareas hechas. ¡Me voy a casa con la satisfacción del deber cumplido! ¡Hasta el próximo reporte, mis queridos lectores de Hive! 💪
My people! Today started with maximum discipline. I got up early, did my morning routine on the porch (base training is non-negotiable! 🏋️♀️), showered, got dressed, and walked straight to the bus stop. Everything was going according to plan... until the bus decided that public transportation today was a Strongman challenge.
The Morning Battle and the Bank 🚌💸
The bus was packed, like the entire country was traveling on it. But I got on, pushed hard enough to secure my spot, and, miracle of miracles!, I arrived just two minutes before 8 a.m. ⏱️ Victory by photo finish!
I got to work at full speed. Around midday, I had to undertake a high-risk mission: go to the nearest Banco de Venezuela. Time to withdraw cash for my bi-weekly bus fare! There's nothing more stressful than facing the bank line with the limited time of lunch. I returned to the office, ate a quick bite (essential fuel), and stayed glued to my screen.
Detectives, Coffee, and Blood 🔎🩸
The afternoon turned into a detective story, but without any glory! The manager and I wasted a good while looking for a personal document belonging to the owner, convinced that "he left it here one day." We checked every corner, moved papers around, looked under the desk, and... not a trace of that document! 🤦♂️ The manager with his antics... We had to surrender to the mystery of the missing document.
And as if I weren't busy enough with that hunt and the rest of my work, I had to make the payments! When everyone else is swamped with activities, the administrative work falls on me. That's how the day went: glued to the PC screen, eyes dry, almost tearing up a mixture of blood, coffee, and paperwork. I spent ages drafting document after document to create client accounts and generate the documentation we need to submit to large suppliers to get them approved. A bureaucratic nightmare! 😵💫
But discipline prevailed. Tired, but with the tasks completed. I'm going home with the satisfaction of a job well done! Until the next report, my dear Hive readers! 💪
