Today was a real test of my endurance. It all started with the transportation chaos; after watching three packed buses go by, I managed to board a "pirate transport" that turned out to be incredibly slow. To make matters worse, the landing was in an area far from my destination, which delayed the start of my workday. Upon arrival, I was faced with a huge task: unloading a ship with 2,500 roof tiles.
Physical Effort and Solidarity
Since my warehouse partner is on leave after an accident on his personal boat, I had to handle the load practically alone. Of the 2,500 tiles, I had to organize 1,000 off the ship for immediate sale. Due to discomfort in my right arm, I had to do most of the work with my left, which resulted in considerable asymmetrical wear and tear. In addition to the roofing tiles, I also helped with loading cement, mortar, and stucco—tasks that demanded every ounce of my energy.
Management and Closure
Late in the afternoon, I managed to sit down and register the books and get ahead on some pending December tasks. The fatigue was noticeable, but the satisfaction of a job well done motivated me to finish the day. Success and failure are the same outcome; today's lesson was the ability to adapt physically to adversity. In the next two weeks, I will prioritize my health to maintain this pace. Let's go for it! 💪🧠
