Hoy la jornada estuvo marcada por la paciencia y la gestión personal en un entorno urbano bastante saturado. Me levanté temprano con la intención de realizar varias diligencias rápidas, incluyendo la compra de suministros y mi suplemento de citrato de magnesio (Magalex), pero la realidad del transporte y la afluencia de personas en los centros comerciales dictaron un ritmo muy diferente.
La búsqueda del Magalex y el Colapso Logístico
Pasé cerca de tres horas recorriendo diferentes farmacias. Inicié en el Centro Comercial Orinoco, pasé por farmacias externas y finalmente terminé en un Farmatodo donde, tras hacer una larga fila, me informaron que el medicamento estaba en otra sucursal. Tuve que desplazarme nuevamente y hacer otra fila para asegurar el suplemento, que es vital para mi recuperación articular. A esto se sumaron 30 minutos más para comprar unos chocolates y dos horas adicionales de espera en la parada de autobuses, ya que el transporte hacia mi zona estaba inexistente.
Momentos Inesperados
No todo fue estrés; en medio de la espera, ayudé a una amiga a elegir un regalo y terminé participando de forma improvisada en la grabación de una sorpresa romántica para una pareja de desconocidos. Fui el encargado de capturar el momento con el celular, lo que sirvió para distraer la mente de las interminables colas. Finalmente, entregué unos encargos a mi compañero de entrenamiento Neomar y logré llegar a casa pasadas las 5:30 PM para desayunar/almorzar.
Hoy el plan original de hacer el mercado falló debido al tiempo perdido, pero logré obtener mi tratamiento médico y viví experiencias que no estaban en la agenda. Mañana será el día de completar las compras pendientes con la misma determinación. ¡Seguimos adelante! 💪🧠
Today was marked by patience and self-management in a rather congested urban environment. I woke up early intending to run several quick errands, including buying supplies and my magnesium citrate supplement (Magalex), but the reality of transportation and the crowds at shopping malls dictated a very different pace.
The Search for Magalex and the Logistical Collapse
I spent nearly three hours going from pharmacy to pharmacy. I started at the Orinoco Shopping Center, went to several other pharmacies, and finally ended up at a Farmatodo where, after waiting in a long line, I was told the medication was at another branch. I had to travel again and wait in another line to secure the supplement, which is vital for my joint recovery. To this was added another 30 minutes to buy some chocolates and an additional two hours of waiting at the bus stop, since there was no public transportation to my area.
Unexpected Moments
It wasn't all stress; in the midst of the wait, I helped a friend choose a gift and ended up spontaneously participating in the recording of a romantic surprise for a couple of strangers. I was in charge of capturing the moment with my cell phone, which helped distract me from the endless lines. Finally, I delivered some errands to my training partner Neomar and managed to get home after 5:30 PM for breakfast/lunch.
Today, the original plan to do the grocery shopping fell through due to the lost time, but I managed to get my medication and had some unexpected experiences. Tomorrow will be the day to complete the pending shopping with the same determination. We keep going! 💪🧠
