El inter Miami de Lionel se coronó campeón de la Major League Soccer en su temporada 2025, y la número 30 desde que se celebra el compeonato de 'soccer' en el país norteamericano.
El encuentro disputado en el Chase Stadium, dejó un resultado de 3-1 del equipo rosa sobre el Vancouver Whitecaps, gracias a las anotaciones de Rodrigo de Paul Tadeo Allende y un autogol de Édier Ocampo para abrir el marcador a favor del Inter Miami. Aunque no marcó en este compromiso, Lionel Messi logró dos asistencias para guiar la victoria de su equipo.
El Chase Stadium de Fort Lauderdale acogió a más de 20.000 aficionados en este encuentro que además marcó el último partido en la historia de este recinto deportivo.
Para la temporada 2025, la MLS vivió un aumento considerable en su audiencia televisiva durante la última temporada, superando los 3.7 millones de espectadores alrededor del mundo, y un aumento del 30% de visibilidad en plataformas streaming.
De esta manera, y con un gran marco en el Chase Stadium, el Inter Miami bordó la primera estrella de su carrera, así como fue la despedida perfecta para Sergio Busquets y Jordi Alba, quienes colgaron los botines tras una larga y exitosa carrera como futbolistas profesionales.

Lionel's Inter Miami was crowned champion of Major League Soccer in its 2025 season, the 30th since the 'soccer' championship began in the North American country.

En el día de ayer escuché en un programa periodístico sobre los sorprendentes números sobre el crecimiento de audiencia, asistencia a estadios, recaudación, venta de merchandising y otros rubros relacionados con la MLS en general y con el Inter Miami en particular. Sorprendente que un solo jugador pueda generar todo eso.

Saludos amigo, efectivamente, y es algo que ocurrió en su momento cuando llegó David Beckham a la MLS, el inglés tuvo un efecto similar por lo que representa. Imagina ahora todo lo que conlleva la figura de Messi actualmente. Es 10 veces mayor el impacto.
