Spring Cleaning...

... always brings good fortune, especially when you totally forgotten about the habit you used to have when things were better and cheaper.

Always start investing young when you are able; because you never know when it can save your life from starvation

(Before tribulations, that is)

That was how i started; blogging at a central site once called Fanbox a decade ago, I started hearing about bitcoin technology and how important it is to stash precious metals.

Not having much at the time as the LORD (believe it or not!) started prompting me to save 20% of my salary for one day I may have a home of my own, and while testing out this new pay to blog site (before the birth of STEEM), I started using the credits I earned to exchange for some silver from those who were opening up their online stores there.

I got some all the way from Canada and the States, and even from the Middle East (which is where the 24K gold flake pendant was acquired) . It wasn't a lot, but that was my pride of owning my very own precious metals.

I do, however, have a question: Is it normal to have this kind of oxidation?

It looked like dark blue or purple with some pink sides. Perhaps the silver group can point some relevant advice?

I also found a lot of spare change along the way, because I used to use more cash and there were a lot of them; I don't always put it into the donation box because I never know when I will need it.

And now just this bunch could buy a meal, a great way to avoid any starvation while all is spent on debt and bills.

Besides that, I always loved collecting history like the new coins of every year. Unfortunately, there was a time when I used to have it kept at my parents' original home, there was a break in and my collection was lost.

So now having a bunch of these, I spent some time picking each and every one that I can find from each year. Of course, not everything will be there, but we'll never know, if I suddenly bump into another antiques and I can keep collecting. These could be the only ones left I can pass down to the munchkins, and they can use it for a rainy day if necessary.

Of course besides local collection, I was privileged to collect some when I was in Europe. At first I thought they were all the same until I noticed that they have different designs at the back that represent each country! So I tried to keep (at the time) each design and the rest I exchanged the balance back to local currency for bills and food.

Ah! Forgotten Treasures! So fun to find them again while spring cleaning

Probably, these will need to go into my will of instructions so that those who are left behind won't think it is trash. 🤪
