What is LOLZ Defi?

LOLZ Defi is a way to earn passive income on the Hive Blockchain and includes three components.

  • LOLZ Curation
  • LOLZ Farming
  • LOLZ Dividends

Each component works together to provide value to LOLZ users, delegators, and holders. Learn more about how LOLZ Defi works in our Introduction to LOLZ Defi post.

LOLZ Farming Basics

Farm LOLZ tokens by delegating Hive tokens to the LOLZ Curation bots (HIVE delegation coming soon!). We are rewarding delegators with LOLZ tokens equal to 110% of the value of the curation rewards received from their delegation.

To start farming LOLZ, delegate the following tokens to the associated curation bot.

Curation Earnings

The following table summarizes the LOLZ Curation earnings for the last 24 hours. The APR shown is calculated by dividing the daily earnings by the amount of tokens staked and delegated multiplied by 365 days. The APR for each token changes daily based on the earnings achieved. Note the APRs shown DO NOT include the 10% bonus paid to LOLZ farmers.

Dividends

Forty percent of curation earnings are paid out as dividends to LOLZ Headliners (holders of 512 or more LOLZ) on a pro-rated basis weekly. Currently, dividends are paid out for two tokens per day, such that all pool rewards are paid out once per week.

🤣 I think you did more than catch up with me. I've been tempted lately to buy the price up some so it'd be worth more !LOLZ each day. Gonna hold off until the relentless selling stops. I think they put too much rewards on the liquidity pools, caused a lot of inflation. But those pools end in about a month, that's why I pulled, because Oneup went down in price, I ended up pulling an extra 2k coins out than I put in, glad to lose the SPT because once airdrop ends that's toast lol.

I think it will go back to 0.03-0.05 in 1-3 months.

Nice. You got a great buy at .016 I think. I still have a little over 6000 onup in the pool so I get about 60 a day there and then I just trade it. In the first pool I was getting a little over 100 per day so I had a nice base to trade. Most of those profits are what I put in the LOLZ pool.

I'm not sure what's going to happen to SPT. It seems strange that anyone would be holding that for SPS since its almost the same price as DEC now and it gives 1 quarter of the airdrop points. That makes me think it will be fine but I've been wrong before.

Ya im surprised SPT has held up so well, I dont sell any of mine, I just keep stacking it and compounding, a lot of liquidity pools pair with spt so I plan to use it for that long term.
