But it was Tunisia turn at Roumdé Adija stadium last night where the Super Eagles of Nigeria was favorite to progress into the last eight of the tournament after having a stellar performance In the group stage

But reverse was the case as Tunisia night, thanks to Youssef Msakni Second half strike which goes beyond Nigeria goalkeeper okoye into the back of the net.

It was indeed a below expectation performance by the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they find it hard to contain the Tunisian in the encounter

Matter becomes worse for the Nigeria National team as they went down to 10 men in the second half as Alex Iwobi yellow card was upgrade to red card few minutes after stepping on the pitch in the second half, which later makes it hard for the Eagles to come back in the encounter.

Mean while the Super Eagles of Nigeria have been eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nation in tht last 16 encounter after losing to Tunisia on Sunday night

It Youssef Msakni goal was all wat Tunisia needed to send the progress into the last eight after struggling to come out of their group during the group Stage matches.

The super Eagle of Nigeria is expected back to Nigeria today as caretakers Manager Augustine Eguavoen resign after the match
