Injured Ndidi Doubt For Ukraine Friendly
Nigeria could be without the services of
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi might not be ready for the international friendly against Ukraine on September 10. The match between Nigeria and Ukraine is slated to happen at the Dnipro Stadium but the 22-year old is currently struggling with an injury.
Ndidi picked up a hamstring injury during his club’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago and is yet to recover.
Reports though suggests he could start training this week.

I hope he gets fixed soon. Super Eagles has the option of another midfielder which can be a part of the squad alongside Alex Iwobi (Everton), Oghenekaro Etebo (Stoke City) and Joe Aribo (Rangers). With this parade, he might not be missed much.
PAOK Salonika of Greece defensive Midfielder Anderson Esiti is a most worthy replacement for Ndidi. I pray he recovers fast.
The only other time Ndidi missed a Premier League game for the Foxes was in May of 2018, but I think there are capable hands on board, to replace him.
Ndidi already has a worthy replacement in Esiti. The squad to the Ukraine friendly will be fine.
