Hoy fue uno de esos días que comienzan con la rutina habitual y terminan siendo una aventura inesperada y desafiante. Mi alarma sonó a las 8 am, y como cualquier otro día, me preparé para el trabajo. Las tareas de la oficina transcurrieron sin contratiempos, cada una ejecutada con la precisión que la tecnología y la experiencia me han enseñado, solo llevo 1 año en la empresa pero siento que he aprendido mucho.
Al mediodía, mi jornada debía continuar en la universidad, pero el destino tenía otros planes. En una solicitud inusual, pero comprensible, se nos pidió colaborar en la distribución de las bolsas de comida que recibimos mensualmente en el trabajo. La idea era sencilla: ayudar a repartir para recibir lo nuestro sin demoras. Aceptamos sin dudar, sin imaginar que nos esperaban más de cuatro horas de esfuerzo físico, descargando 1500 bolsas de un camión, cada una con un peso aproximado de 15 kilos.
Today was one of those days that start with the usual routine and end up being an unexpected and challenging adventure. My alarm went off at 8 am, and like any other day, I got ready for work. The office tasks went smoothly, each one executed with the precision that technology and experience have taught me, I have only been with the company for 1 year but I feel I have learned a lot.
At noon, my day was to continue at the university, but fate had other plans. In an unusual but understandable request, we were asked to collaborate in the distribution of the food bags we receive monthly at work. The idea was simple: help distribute so that we could receive what was ours without delay. We accepted without hesitation, not imagining that more than four hours of physical effort awaited us, unloading 1500 bags from a truck, each weighing approximately 15 kilos.

El cansancio es palpable en cada músculo de mi cuerpo, pero al llegar a casa y ver la bolsa de comida, siento una satisfacción profunda. No solo por el trabajo realizado, sino también por la oportunidad de ver la ciudad nocturna desde una perspectiva diferente, cortesía del viaje con mis compañeros. Fue, sin duda, un día de duro trabajo, pero el agotamiento se ve mitigado por la sensación de haber colaborado y haber recibido mi recompensa. Ahora solo pienso en dormir bien y reponer energías, pero estos días pesados son los que te hacen sentir que estás vivo.
The fatigue is palpable in every muscle in my body, but upon arriving home and seeing the bag of food, I feel a deep satisfaction. Not only for the work done, but also for the opportunity to see the night city from a different perspective, courtesy of the trip with my companions. It was certainly a day of hard work, but the exhaustion is mitigated by the feeling of having contributed and received my reward. Now I'm just thinking about getting a good night's sleep and replenishing my energy, but these heavy days are the ones that make you feel like you're alive.
