Cómo ha venido sonando los últimos días al respecto de la regla del juvenil, el seleccionador nacional de Venezuela José Néstor Pékerman, quiere sacar de juego la regla del juvenil en la Liga FUTVE. En este post les traigo un análisis y mi opinión acerca de esta situación, lo positivo y lo negativo de esta norma que tiene años implementando se en el fútbol venezolano.
As it has been sounding the last few days regarding the youth rule, the national coach of Venezuela José Néstor Pékerman, wants to remove the youth rule in the FUTVE League. Esta regla consiste en tener a un jugador menor de 19 años dentro del terreno de juego, lo cual lleva a hacer debut en el fútbol profesional venezolano a chicos de 17, 18 y 19 años, llevándolo a obtener mucha experiencia y roce competitivo a temprana edad, con el fin de tener los resultados en las selecciones de Venezuela Sub-17 y Sub-20. Además de que los equipos venezolano los vendan como una joven promesa al extranjero y así sacarle ganancias económicas que mantiene con vida a los equipo nacionales, que ya él ingreso de los sponsors y la boletería no les alcanza para mantener un equipo en Venezuela que atraviesa por difícil situación económica, que hasta los equipos no se salvan.

La realidad es que los chicos que tienen la linda oportunidad de debutar en Primera División a veces saben tomar la responsabilidad y el compromiso adecuado para mantenerse en el primer equipo y aprender cada día para hacer el trabajo adecuado dentro de un terreno de juego, ese es uno de los puntos, mantener su competitividad para ganarse ese puesto privilegiado de ser el juvenil regla en el once titular de cualquier equipo en Venezuela.

El segundo punto es cuando los jugadores son interesados por equipos en el extranjero para "probar suerte", por literalmente es eso, en la mayoría de los casos, los jugadores venezolanos que salen al extranjero van a probar suerte y ver si en realidad están a la altura del equipo que hayan mostrado su interés, con el fin de seguir aprendiendo en su carrera y dando más pasos de calidad en el profesional. Eso implica tomar más responsabilidad, de vivir solo en el extranjero, dedicarse más al entrenamiento y en definida ver si termina encajando, porque cuando las cosas no se dan como se pensaba tienen que tomar la decisión de volver al país, ya que salen sin tener la formación completa. No es nada más correr tras una pelota, es saber correr para intentar tapar posiciones del campo, aprender a tomar buenas decisiones dentro y fuera del campo, dedicarse a la profesional del fútbol las 24 horas del día y dar el máximo en cada encuentro.
The second point is when players are interested by teams abroad to "try their luck", literally that's why, in most cases, Venezuelan players who go abroad go to try their luck and see if they are really up to the team that has shown their interest, in order to continue learning in their career and giving more quality steps in the professional. That implies taking more responsibility, to live alone abroad, to dedicate themselves more to training and definitely see if they end up fitting in, because when things do not go as planned they have to make the decision to return to the country, since they leave without having the complete training. It is not just running after a ball, it is knowing how to run to try to cover positions on the field, learning to make good decisions on and off the field, dedicating oneself to professional soccer 24 hours a day and giving the maximum in every game.

Venezuela sí ha tenido jugadores que han crecido en cada proceso, tal es el caso de Yangel Herrera, es el mejor ejemplo que tiene la regla del juvenil, comenzar desde muy abajo e ir subiendo hasta llegar a la Primera División de España. Yangel comenzó siendo juvenil de un equipo de Segunda División en Venezuela (Monagas SC), su notable talento hizo que ese equipo subieran a la máxima categoría del balompié criollo, solo con 17 años, a los 18 ya era jugador del Atlético Venezuela, también cumpliendo la norma del juvenil, pero su calidad lo llevó aún más lejos, mostrando sus dotes de talento con la selección nacional de categorías menores, lo llevó a jugar al New York City de la MLS. Cada allá daba un paso hacia adelante, pero no todos los casos de los jugadores jóvenes en Venezuela son iguales al de Yangel Herrera.

Deben haber muchísimo más jugadores que han debutado gracias a la regla del juvenil y ahora se encuentran dedicados a otra cosa o jugando al fútbol amateur. Esto me lleva a pensar, ¿en realidad necesitamos la regla del juvenil?

José Néstor Pékerman trae mucha experiencia en su cabeza y parece que no ve conveniente esa regla, ya que el chico que es bueno siempre jugará. Los cuál veo una decisión acertada, pero a nivel de formación los equipos venezolanos deben mejorar, tener sus canteras bien organizadas con profesionales a cargo para la formación de las estrellas del mañana de la selección de Venezuela.

Pékerman tiene tres mundiales y cada decisión que tome será bueno analizarlo para darnos cuenta lo sabio que es el seleccionador argentino, antes de Pékerman, no me hubiera puesto a pensar en sacar de juego la regla del juvenil, la verdad lo veía como una de las mejores reglas que tiene el fútbol venezolano, ya que en ningún otro país la había visto y la juventud venezolana nos ha brindado muchas alegrías, como aquel subcampeonato en el Mundial Sub-20 en el año 2017, con la regla en función se veía que daba resultados, que igual los puede seguir dando pero que deje de ser una obligación para los técnicos meter a un juvenil en cancha es un buen camino.

He leído que se está planteando crear un torneo sub-23 con todos los equipos de Primera División, a primera vista me parece buena idea, pero en realidad todos los equipos podrán soportar una inversión de esas por el tema económico que les mencioné al principio, la verdad se ve un panorama complicado, los viajes, la uniformidad, los sueldos, sería como tener que mantener a dos equipos profesionales para cada institución del país.
