Este sábado 12 de marzo jugamos una partidita amistosa en el estadio Comanche Bottini de Maturín. La tarde estuvo perfecta para disfrutar con el balón rodando en el césped sintético del Comanche, pude anotar para aportar en la victoria de mi equipo, que nos impusimos 3-1.

This Saturday, March 12, we played a friendly match at the Comanche Bottini stadium in Maturin. The afternoon was perfect to enjoy the ball rolling on the synthetic grass of the Comanche, I was able to score to contribute to the victory of my team, which we won 3-1.

A las 4:20 de la tarde se dio el pitazo inicial, por nuestra parte usamos una formación de 4-3-3 para intentar sacar ese resultado positivo. Recuerdo que la última vez que jugamos con ese rival perdimos 4-1 así que en mi mente estaba sacarnos esa espinita.

At 4:20 in the afternoon the whistle was blown, we used a 4-3-3 formation to try to get that positive result. I remember that the last time we played that opponent we lost 4-1 so in my mind we had to get rid of that thorn in our side.

Estudiando un poco el rival, note que su debilidad es cuando no tienen la posesión del balón siempre arrancan con tu toque-toque quitándonos por completo la pelota, así que teníamos que dejarle el balón, pero siempre lejos de nuestra portería con la intención de manejarles los tiempos para saber aprovecharlos cuando pierdan la esférica.

Usamos un portero improvisado. Es decir, un delantero adaptado en la portería por los primeros 45 minutos. Javier alias el Morocho fue el encargado del arco, los centrales fueron Yoel (el otro Morocho) junto con Jesús, el lateral derecho fue Félix y en el lateral izquierdo jugué yo, Luis Miguel Idrogo.

We use an improvised goalkeeper. That is, an adapted striker in goal for the first 45 minutes. Javier aka Morocho was in charge of the box, the center backs were Yoel (the other Morocho) along with Jesus, the right back was Felix and I played in the left back, Luis Miguel Idrogo.

El mediocampo es una zona muy importante para el rendimiento de todo el equipo y por eso asumo que desde ahí comenzamos a ganar el partido, ya que estuvo el zurdo José David uno de los mejores del amistoso y los acompañó Óscar y Daniel Eduardo. Los tres atacantes fueron Juan, Manuel y un fichaje a última hora que tuvimos mientras llegaban los demás, por ende no me se su nombre, pero fue muy importante para mí anotación.

The midfield is a very important area for the performance of the whole team and that is why I assume that from there we started to win the game, since the left-footed José David was one of the best players of the friendly and he was accompanied by Óscar and Daniel Eduardo. The three attackers were Juan, Manuel and a last minute signing that we had while the others were arriving, so I don't know his name, but he was very important for me to score.

Comenzamos perdiendo el partido con un contraataque que no parecía tan peligroso, pero llovió un centro a nuestra área que nuestro arquero no supo medir bien y la dejó picando para un rival que no se la pensó para mandarla a guardar.

We started losing the game with a counterattack that did not seem so dangerous, but a cross into our area rained down that our goalkeeper did not know how to measure well and left it for an opponent who did not think twice about sending it into the net.

Los ánimos se venían abajo y ya yo me sentía muy cansado apenas en el minuto 20, siempre tengo ese problema, que me fatigó muy rápido y teniendo labores en el lateral de ida y vuelta más aún, quería participar en el ataque pero cuando perdimos la pelota no aparecía en el retroceso, así que decidí intentar no irme mucho al ataque. Luego llegaron jugadores que nos faltaban, así que se realizó un cambio importante, le dio salida a Félix que estaba de lateral derecho y entró Charles, una jugador con mucha técnico, por eso su ingresó cambió por completo nuestro juego, jugado detrás del delantero, mandado a Manuel al lateral derecho y cambiando de formación del 4-3-3 al 4-4-2.

The spirits were falling and I was already feeling very tired just in the 20th minute, I always have that problem, that fatigued me very quickly and having work in the back and forth even more, I wanted to participate in the attack but when we lost the ball I did not appear in the back, so I decided to try not to go much in the attack. Then players arrived who we were missing, so we made an important change, Félix who was on the right wing was sent off and Charles came in, a player with a lot of technique, so his entry completely changed our game, playing behind the striker, sending Manuel to the right wing and changing the formation from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2.

Mi anotación arrancó con una buena pared que lance con Daniel Eduardo, quién también es lateral izquierdo natural, pero decidió está vez jugar en el mediocampo, seguí avanzando para el ataque aprovechando el espacio que me daba el rival y con velocidad no lo dude en seguir avanzando, descargue con uno de los delanteros (el refuerzo de última hora) para pedirla en la frontal del área, pero ví que Juan, el otro delantero salió de su zona a también pedirla fuera de áreas, así que aproveche ese espacio para meterme entre los defensores centrales y el jugador que metimos de refuerzo supo entender mi movimiento y me filtró un pase que con un toque que yo realice me saqué al último defensor para quedar mano a mano con el portero y definir de derecha con un remate ajustado a su palo izquierdo.

My goal started with a good wall that I threw with Daniel Eduardo, who is also a natural left back, but this time he decided to play in the midfield, I continued advancing for the attack taking advantage of the space that the rival gave me and with speed I did not hesitate to continue advancing, I unloaded with one of the forwards (the last minute reinforcement) to ask for it in the front of the area, but I saw that Juan, the other striker came out of his area to also ask for it out of the area, so I took advantage of that space to get between the central defenders and the player we put as reinforcement knew how to understand my movement and filtered me a pass that with a touch I took out the last defender to be one on one with the goalkeeper and define right with a shot tight to his left post.

Jugada magistral que nos dio el empate momentáneo, pero mi cansancio no paraba de recordárselo a mi cuerpo y mi mente así que decidí pedir el cambio para descansar y poder entrar al segundo tiempo, ya que era un partido amistoso podíamos hacer eso, en la banca me encontré con 5 jugadores, buen número de jugadores teníamos para hacer los cambios y tener más pierna fresca en el campo. Los primeros 45 minutos terminaron en empate a un gol por bando.

Masterful play that gave us the momentary tie, but my tiredness did not stop reminding my body and mind so I decided to ask for a change to rest and be able to enter the second half, since it was a friendly match we could do that, on the bench I found myself with 5 players, we had a good number of players to make the changes and have more fresh legs on the field. En el segundo tiempo salimos con otra cara y el rival con un golpe anímico a pesar de ir empatado el partido, pero teniendo en cuenta que teníamos un mejor fútbol en el mediocampo. Charles marcó el 2-1 con una pelota que robó en la frontal del área y se metió hasta el arco y definió con mucha clase por encima del portero, eso hizo aprovechando el bajón que tuvo el equipo rival.

In the second half, we came out with a different face and the opponent with a blow to their spirit, despite the fact that we were tied, but taking into account that we had better soccer in the midfield. Pasamos por unas jugadas de peligro, ellos llegaron pero el destino del partido estaba encaminado para nosotros, ya que de todas esas que tuvieron ninguna terminó el gol, ya con 30 minutos jugados del segundo tiempo entró yo para participar en la tercera y última anotación, haciendo un recorrido completo desde mi banda izquierda hasta el frente de ataque para dejarsela a el zurdo José David que se inventó una pared con Charles para el mismo ir José David para que terminará mano a mano y pueda definir a placer, Charles con sobrepeso se puso el equipo al hombro con una anotación y una estupenda asistencia, al final del partido recibió mis felicitaciones por mi parte.

De vez en cuando es bueno hacer el deporte que tanto nos apasiona, y eso es una de las cosas que coincidimos en el equipo, todos tenemos nuestras responsabilidades laborales o familiares, pero no cae de vez en cuando salir a correr detrás de un balón y si es en el mítico estadio Alexander Comanche Bottini, mucho mejor. Esperando que se repita otra partidita cómo está para venir a contarlo en Hive, por suerte conozco a la mayoría para nombrarlos, gracias a un grupo que tenemos en Facebook para coordinar el pago para el alquiler de la cancha y la fecha y hora del partido.
