En las dos anotaciones la defensa del Barcelona dejó mucho que desear, Koundé que viene saliendo de una lesión fue titular junto a Eric García, ambos se mostraron muy lentos en las salidas rápidas y esto le permitió al Madrid recuperar balón en la zona medular con Tchouaméni, Modrič, Kroos y Valverde para agarrar a la defensa mal parada en el retroceso.
