Before the roosters quiet down, my day starts. Breakfast simmers on the stove, its scent mixing with the crisp morning air. Laundry flaps gently under the open sky, and the floor is swept clean—each chore a steady rhythm. The dogs trot beside me, nudging my hand as I fill their bowls. By dawn, I’ve already moved more than most. The quiet province hums with life, and I move with it. Maybe later, I’ll sit on the porch, coffee in hand, watching the sun climb higher.
