Ready or not, here I come..

📌 Adventure afoot!

🔼 The South Peninsula is no stranger to strong wind.. and strong strangers may hide in the wind. Allow me to enlighten you. Those following my adventure already know that whilst on my mission to clean an environmentally sensitive part of the planet, I have to be extra cautious with regards to the element of criminal danger. The wind today was so strong - that between the loud gusts of air in my ears, and the heavy rustling of vegetation.. my ability to hear potential danger was lost. For that reason, I chose to focus my attention on an area further away from dense vegetation around the local wetlands.

⏫ Before I made that critical observation, however.. I had to first get there. On my way, I was quick to spot a large bag from a rotisserie cooked deli item.

⏫ Upon my arrival at the wetlands, something shiny caught my eye. I had found a crumpled ball of tin foil. I bagged it with some other paper which was located nearby.

⏫ The next piece of rubbish was sizeable. It was a fairly long strip of boxing tape affixed to cardboard (essentially a fragment of broken box).

⏫ I recognized the brand displayed on this piece of plastic. I'm guessing it was from a store butchery product.

⏫ No idea what this purple plastic was from. That of course doesn't really matter at the end of the day. What's important is that it's no longer there.

⏫ The grass did a super job in catching this light piece of plastic. Stoked to get it outta here of course!

⏫ It's important to remember that no piece of rubbish is too small to simply leave on the ground. That little piece could in fact lead to more, when an inconsiderate individual perceives it as permission for such - which it clearly is not!

⏫ A large plastic lid.. but where is the bottle from whence it comes? Hopefully disposed of properly.

⏫ I was then able to recover a plastic soft drink bottle. It was spoiling the native flora for the resident fauna.

⏫ The foil packaging remnants of a snack. When I picked it up, it was full of stagnant water.. yech!

📌 Now in this bin!

⏫ All the rubbish collected was disposed of in the nearby municipal bin. I kept my carrier to re-use. It was a splendid day in terms of sunshine.. but the wind factor was a bit hectic! Nonetheless, I shall call it a success. The exercise did me good.

📌 Final words

🔼 Relating to the cover image.. the location of the final piece of trash provided some lighthearted amusement. It did not belong there.. "OUT".
