Season 10 Announcement

Good Day @macfit Fans,

Eliminations to Season 9 are under way, but @macfit is already planning for Season 10. It will be "jubilee" season and also 1-year anniversary of the competition. It will be a special season.

Season 10 - Special Edition

Currently we have 16 players in Champions League and 16 in Consolation Cup. The 32 players are a combination of seeded participants and elaborate elimination system.

In Season 10 a total of 48 players will take part, with minimal qualifications.

Champions League will be replaced (for one season) with SuperLeague. Highlights:

  • 24 players
    -- invitation only (see below)
  • 5 weekends (Fri-Mon) played as elimination race ("miss and out" style known from cycling races)
  • various bonuses add to the total score

Consolation Cup will be played in usual play-off mode:

  • 24 players
    -- 12 seeded, based on @macfit Ranking Table
    -- 12 from single round of qualifiers
  • 5 rounds with double elimination and a single match final
  • in rounds #3, #4 and #5, players eliminated from SuperLeague added to the brackets as top seeded.

SuperLeague

As stated above, the roster is by invitation only. Criteria listed below, but let's first have a look at the All Times Leader board:

The 24 slots available will be awarded to:

  • All past Champions League Winners (plus the winner of Season 9)

    -- 7) Season 9 winner (if not already on the list)
  • Players who won Consolation Cup twice

    -- 9) Season 9 winner (only if they have already won the trophy)
  • Representatives of Sponsors
    -- 10) @pjansen from @actifit
    -- 11) @flaxz from @aliveprojects
  • Admins of befriended competitions
    -- 12) @browery from @poliac
    -- 13) @racibo from @poprzeczka
  • Wild cards awarded by (criteria decided by the respective admins):
    -- 14) @macfit - "Surprise of Season 9", ie. the player from Round 1 of Eliminations into Season 9 who gets to the furthest stage
    -- 15) @actifit (@pjansen chooses who gets the slot)
    -- 16) @aliveprojects (@flaxz's decision)
    -- 17) @poliac (@browery may choose current season winner or "all times star")
    -- 18) @poprzeczka (up to @racibo to decide the criteria)
  • remaining slots will go the highest ranked players after the above are selected
    -- 19) thru 24) - based on @macfit Ranking Table after completion of Season 9

Format

Players will score by publishing their @actifit reports. 4 days per round (always Fri thru Mon). After each weekend, the players with lowest scores (cumulative) will be eliminated

  1. Weekend One - 6 players eliminated, the best 2 of them will be transferred to Consolation Cup - Weekend Two
  2. Weekend Two - 6 players eliminated, the best 2 of them will be transferred to Consolation - Weekend Three (Quarterfinal)
  3. Weekend Three - 4 players eliminated, the best will be transferred to Consolation Cup - Weekend Four (Semifinal)
  4. Weekend Four - 4 players eliminated
  5. Weekend Five - "Final Four"

There will be additional points available as bonuses, details being worked on.

Consolation Cup

24 slots available. 12 will be seeded, based on @macfit Ranking Table after Season 9. It will be the 12 highest ranked after selection for SuperLeague is completed.

12 players will come from a single round of Qualifiers (played in "walk alone" mode - the way current pre-qualifiers work).

Format

Double elimination play-off. Two matches in five initial rounds and a single match Final.

  • "Weekend Zero" 24 players in 12 pairs
  1. Weekend One: 12 winners form "Weekend Zero" in 6 pairs
  2. Weekend Two: 6 winners from Weekend One + 2 players eliminated from SuperLeague Weekend One (they will be top seeded) = 4 pairs
  3. Weekend Three: 4 winners from Weekend One + 2 players eliminated from SuperLeague Weekend Two (they will be top seeded) = 3 pairs
  4. Weekend Four: 3 winners from Weekend Three + 1 player eliminated from SuperLeague Weekend Three (they will be top seeded)
  5. Weekend Five: single match Final

@pjansen , @flaxz , @browery & @racibo - please think how you would like to award your slots in Season 10 SuperLeague. Each of you has ONE SLOT to give away. You decide the criteria.

The Season 10 will be played in August. I need your decision by end July at the latest.

@flaxz - yes, @manuvert is two times winner of Champions League and has therefore a slot in the Superleague. Please see the original post - I've listed players who are already in

Myślę nad tym coraz intensywniej, ale to trudna decyzja.
Tka ogólnie to chciałbym tę ~dziką kartę dać komuś kto miał często pecha - tylko nie wiem czy czasem Ci uczestnicy w twoich tabelach nie są już dość wysoko.

W poprzeczce na przykład Panie mają, można powiedzieć pecha - bo np. ani razu nie weszły na pudło.
Tylko jeszcze się zastanawiam jak znaleźć wskaźnik "pecha" w tej edycji.

w moim poście jest list osób zakwalifikowanych, potem pójdę po rankingu żeby uzupełnić brakujące miejsca. Generalnie przeważa męska kompania, więc jak dasz "best lady ever" to będzie dobrze
