Season 11 Qualifiers

Good Day,

Qualifiers for Season 11 of @macfit tournaments start TOMORROW (Friday, Sep 30). For many players it is the only chance to get into the competition, for some it's an opportunity to gain a bonus for the main season.

I will list here players by groups and explain what each group have to do.
Most will need to post their scores for the qualifying weekend. TWO BEST scores will be taken into account.

Qualifiers period: Friday, Sep 30 THRU Monday, Oct 3
What to do? Comment this post with your scores from the qualifiers period (date & score)
Deadline: Tuesday, Oct 4 - 20:00 GMT

Consolation Cup Qualifiers

All players listed in this section take part in the qualifiers. They need to be active within the 4 days. Two best scores will be added up and will decide the 8 lucky players who qualify into Consolation Cup.

Consolation Cup Qualifiers - auto collection of results

The first group mentioned here can focus on their activity - I will collect the scores for them (as a gesture of appreciation for their past performance).

Consolation Cup Qualifiers - need to post their results

The players listed below have a low ranking and I am not even sure if they are active or want to compete. Therefore, they must post their own results in order to be counted in. The two best scores count.

Consolation Cup - Seeded players

The players listed below have a slot in Consolation Cup without the qualifiers. However, as a sanity check, they need to post their two best scores for the qualifying period. The sum will be used as sorting order for seeding in Round 1 (ie. the highest seeded will play against the lowest scoring player from qualifiers).

However - if they fail to post their results, they will lose their seeded position and will be treated as players who need to qualify (I will collect the results for them, then).

Consolation Cup Seeded Players

Super League Players

Super League is invitation only (achievements in Season 10, Ranking position or Wild Card). The below listed players will take part without any qualifiers. They can however get a better starting position by being active during the qualifiers period and posting their results. The sum of the two best scores will make their starting bonus.

There's no penalty for not posting their scores. They will still compete in the Super League, however without the starting bonus.

  • 16 players; walk-alone mode. 4 will be eliminated (the best of them joins Consolation Cup, Weekend Three)

Friday, Oct 14 THRU Monday, Oct 17

Consolation Cup

  • 10 players, two matches play-off. 5 Winners and Lucky Loser advance to Weekend Three. The Lucky Loser needs first to beat Lucky Loser from Super League Weekend Two.

Friday, Oct 14 AND Saturday, Oct 15

Weekend Three

Super League

  • 12 players; walk-alone mode. 4 will be eliminated (the best of them joins Consolation Cup, Weekend Four)

Friday, Oct 21 THRU Monday, Oct 24

Consolation Cup

  • 6 players, two matches play-off. 3 Winners and Lucky Loser advance to Weekend Four. The Lucky Loser needs first to beat Lucky Loser from Super League Weekend Three.

Friday, Oct 21 AND Saturday, Oct 22

Weekend Four

Super League

  • 8 players; walk-alone mode. 4 will be eliminated

Friday, Oct 28 THRU Monday, Oct 31

Consolation Cup

  • 4 players, two matches play-off. 2 Winners advance to the Final.

Friday, Oct 28 AND Saturday, Oct 29

Finals

Super League Final Four

  • 4 players; walk-alone mode. The weekend decides the Winner and places 2-4

  • 2 players; single match decides the Winner

I thought that i had been reading something about sending a tip... Must have been mistaken. Further on I'm at the group where you write "The players listed below have a low ranking and I am not even sure if they are active or want to compete. Hi,

My intention was for "low ranked" players to comment my announcement with their own results for the qualification period.

However, among the Consolation Cup candidates with low rank, only one person cared to comment with their result. Therefore I didn't check the reports of remaining players and they are out of the game.

This said, I see that you are an engaged player and there was a misunderstanding. Perhaps my instructions were not clear enough. I cannot bring you now into the 1st play-off round. But I will do the following:

I will compare your results for last Fri and Sat with the score of the "lucky loser" of Round 1. If you beat them, you will go ahead to Round 2.

I will take in your feedback and will phrase the instruction in a more clear way next season.

I think that Hive frontends should prevent the publishing of the exact same comment under the same parent post or comment for about a minute to help prevent accidental double comments. 🤔🤓 !PIZZA !CTP

I think for comments and publications somehting like this exists already. I think we cannot publish on the blockchain within 3 or 5 minutes after the previous post. With upvoting it's three seconds if I don't recall wrong... !PGM !CTP
