Most of our day was spent at the dentist; we had four appointments in a row and several hours there.
After @nomaddreamer and I escaped, kids in tow, from the clutches of the dentist (cavity-free!), we went on several walks through the neighborhood to make up for our lost activity count.
I’ve been trying to watch for the smallest of insects and plants, scanning for life forms all along the roads and paths.
And this is why we pay attention, kids! This guy was less than a foot away from the road. If I’m not mistaken, it appears to be a black widow. Any arachnid specialists out there to confirm or deny?
Hard to get good pictures after the sun is set. Here’s to an earlier start tomorrow!
