Ozark Life ~ August 18 2022
Today was a work day for @nomaddreamer and I. We spent most of the day in the shop, him faceting Oregon sunstones, me working on a sterling, copper, and brass pendant that will (hopefully) have a bezel set North Carolina emerald.
I think 50% of my time at my jewelry bench is spent searching for tiny components that seem to fly out of my hands while I’m working.
We did get a couple of walks in with Mia the Wonder Aussie, who is very sad that life is getting back to normal with school and work. She’s gotten used to us taking her for several walks every day!
Please take me on another walk?
Meanwhile the cat, Hephaestus, desperately wants us to take the dog out more as she is ruining his beauty rest.

Your pets are cuties! Jewelry making I would think, might be a little tedious, just like the microscopic screws I deal with on glasses frames at work! Ugh!!

It is tedious... and tiny! My tiny hands seem like giant flappers sometimes when I'm handling small bits of metal and trying to polish them.
