Ozark Life ~ August 23 2022

Today was a beautiful mild day here in the Ozarks.

@nomaddreamer and I had time to take several short walks and jogs. I think my muscles are getting used to the hills here finally, I’m not getting nearly as winded as I was when we started. 💪

We also managed to get several gemstones onto dopsticks for faceting and even some to turn into cabochons. So we did get some work accomplished!

I’ve almost finished a pendant I’ve been working on; no pictures yet until it’s done. Hopefully it will have one of nomaddreamer’s custom faceted North Carolina emeralds in it if I don’t mess it all up and melt it into a pile of silver. 🫰

In lieu of unfinished project pics, I have some pics of our wanderings today.


I thought this lil guy was pretty. The coloring reminds me of my mom’s 1970’s kitchen in the early 80’s.
