Ozark Life ~ September 19 2022

Hit the trail earlier today with @nomaddreamer. We saw lots of squirrels and 2 Three-Toed Box Turtles.

We also wandered up into the park by our house to check on the late summer flowers.

Mia the Wonder Aussie has apparently decided that turtles would make tasty snacks and tried to catch one today before I knew what was happening. Luckily, she missed, and now we know that she’s not to be trusted near them!

_{New mushrooms are popping up from under the detritus. According to PictureThis, these are from the Russulaceae family. I know there were others on the trail from the same family, but these look different!}

_{The magnolias are blooming. They smell wonderful! The seed pods from the earlier bloom are getting closer to opening. They’re nifty looking. 🤓}

Along with hiking and park wandering, we also added more of our handmade jewelry in our #Hivelist store, #AuxArcJewelry. Still trying to figure out some formatting on there, but we’re hoping to add new items everyday.

@nomaddreamer is hoping with all of his might to get some #Splinterlands #TowerDefense packs tomorrow… think it will sell out as quickly as the Riftwatcher pre-sale? Nomaddreamer will either be ecstatic tomorrow or heartbroken. We’ll see how it goes!
