Ozark Life ~ September 26 2022

Hit the trails with @nomaddreamer as per usual today for our morning hike. It was sunny and a little chilly when we started, but it heated up fairly quickly. Pretty standard for this time of year here-- sweatshirt early morning, tank top the rest of the day. According to my father, who has lived here for a long time, it'll be like this for at least another month or so before a sweatshirt becomes all day apparel.

The foliage is just starting to change!

Very little wildlife on the trails, though we did see a gorgeously regal female deer that stared us down while we tried to quietly retrieve our cameras. Neither one of us were able to get a pic, though both of us now have lots of pics of trees that were the results of trying.
