It was cold and sunny this morning as @nomaddreamer and I left for our morning hike. Not a cloud in sight. Cold enough that I was shivering (in a sweatshirt and pants) for at least the first 20 minutes we were out. Quite the change from just a couple of days ago!

It did warm up over the course of our hike, and the sun was coming through the canopy of the woods in that gorgeous dappled way that it does.

There was very little wildlife out; I think all of the creatures in the forest decided to stay tucked in for a bit longer today.

It was a good, brisk hike— very quiet and peaceful!

Other than hiking, it was a day full of chores and regular life maintenance.

The biggest excitement was nomaddreamer opening his Riftwatchers packs. There are some crazy cards in there! Anyone get anything really good?

Thank the Universe for our time in the woods; it keeps me centered (as much as my addled brain can be these days) through the rest of the day. 😊
