Ozark Life ~ October 18 2022

Mia the Wonder Aussie and I hit the trail without @nomaddreamer today. He was at work, and it was my first time out hiking in years without him. The forest was quiet, no wildlife today.

It was a fairly lonely hike! At least I had Mia. 🐾 😊

Mia and I jogged for a good portion of the trail; she wanted to go faster and it was barely 50°F with a cold north wind, so I was happy to oblige!

Speaking of cold, I packed up my shorts and sundresses today to make room for my sweaters and cold weather clothes. Even if it warms back up into the 80’s one of these days (which it will probably do again) I doubt I’ll miss my summer stuff— the nights are freezing! Literally.

_{Hephaestus doesn’t go outside, but it’s not fair to only include the dog in my posts. So here’s a sleepy kitten pic. I love his lil smooshy face. 😻}

Other than hiking, there were errands and chores done and several goals completed and crossed off my list for the week. Yay for adulting! 😁
