It was a gorgeous but tiring Saturday here in our #ozarklife!
Our 13 year old had a friend stay the night last night, which of course means that no one went to bed at a decent hour (ah, the sound of cracking pubescent boy-man voices guffawing loudly throughout the night)! Of course a large breakfast had to be cooked for the young giants.
@nomaddreamer and I got to our trail after breakfast. We hiked the trail quickly, as he had to get to work in the afternoon. Even at a fast pace, it’s impossible to ignore the beauty of our area this time of year.
It’s also much harder to find the trail under all of the leaves!
Mia the Wonder Aussie found this Three Toed Box turtle. @nomaddreamer got a much better angle of her!
