Football is a goal scoring game. The team that scores the most goals will be the winner. So people love goal scorers. But players go beyond scoring. Their skills have fascinated everyone. But there is another type of footballer, whose job is to chase the ball all over the field for 90 minutes and touching every grass of the field. These types of footballers are not as popular with the audience as the first two, but they are the centerpiece of a team, these players are tactically a huge asset for a manager. The presence of such a footballer is almost always noticed in every successful team. Park Ji Sung was an integral part of Manchester United's 2005-2011 team dominating England and Europe. Fans gave him the nickname Three Lungs Park for his inhuman energy, arguably the best Asian footballer of all time.

Park Ji Sung was born in Seoul, South Korea. He went pro with the club Kyoto Purple Sanga in the year 2000. Park made his debut for the Korean national team while playing for the Japanese club. He also played in the 2002 World Cup. After playing for Kyoto Purple Sanga for 3 years, when Guus Hiddink became the manager of Dutch club PSV, he bought Park for PSV. He was an integral part of the PSV team that reached the semi-finals of the UCL in the 2004-05 season. He was nominated for the 2005 UEFA Best Forward Award for his performances that season. Park came to the attention of Sir Alex Ferguson shortly after his performance for PSV in 2004-05. Sir Alex then bought Park for 4 million in the 2005 summer window. Park won two leagues in two and a half seasons for PSV. Along with 1 KNVB Cup and 1 Johan Cruyff Shield. It didn't take long for park to settle in the team. Within months of coming to United, he received the captain's armband in a Champions League match, making him the first Asian to captain Manchester United. Park won the EFL Cup in his first season for United.

Park's second season for United began with an injury. He suffered multiple injuries during the 2006-07 season. Injured Park played only 14 matches in the Premier League in that season, but that season was the first time he had won a Premier League title. Park made his first appearance on the field in March due to an injury during the 2007–08 season. He was also left out of the champions league final. Sir Alex said that not keeping Park in the final was one of the toughest decisions of his managerial career and he was worried that the decision could backfire. United won the EPL and UCL this season. Park won the UEFA Champions League. First for an Asian. Park also won the Premier League for United in the 2008–09 season. They also went to the UCL final, with Park also scoring against Arsenal in the semi-finals. Only to lose against Barcelona. Manchester United won the Premier League again after a season in the 2010-11 season, and played in the UCL final again. Although Park was somewhat irregular during that season due to international duty and injury. Next season, Park played for United for the 200th time. In that season, Park was not a regular for injuries, and even when he was fit, he did not get game time. That is why Park left United that season. Joining the Premier League club Queens Park Rangers at the 2012 Summer Window due to lack of game time. Before leaving Manchester United, Park had won 4 Premier League, 3 Carabao Cups, 4 Community Shields, 1 UCL and 1 FIFA club world cup. He won a total of 13 trophies and established himself as a Manchester United legend.

Park didn't have a good career due to these injuries. His time after United was quite on and off. Park's international career is as bright as his club career. Park made his South Korean debut in 2000. Park was part of the 3rd South Korean squad for the Asian Cup of Service. The goal knocked Portugal out of the group stage and South Korea advanced to the round of sixteen. Park captained South Korea in 2008 and played in the 2010 World Cup as captain. South Korea played in the Round of 16 of the World Cup under the captaincy of Seba Park. In 2011, Park played 100 matches for South Korea and scored 11 goals.
