The City of Manchester. Many of know it from old times mostly because it's a port city and an industrialized city in England. Many of you know it through Manchester United. Most of you would know it because of Manchester United. Because why not? One of the biggest clubs in the world. But slowly, there is someone else getting into the picture. Manchester City. Manchester City was always mocked and looked down upon my Manchester United and clubs alike. They are a relatively newer and smaller club in terms of community and trophies. But in the near future they are set to become the global superpower. And they already look like their on the way. And that is thanks to a company called the City football group of CFG. Here's the story of CFG, their goals, their systems, and their operators.

Many might think that it was CFG who bought Manchester City. But no actually. CFG was forged in 2014. And city was bought one or two years before. Sorry, I do not remember the exact year. Sheikh Mansour of Abu Dhabi bought Manchester City and bankrolled it. He then appointed Khaldun Al Mubarak as chief executive. These two actually brought in the money through shell companies. They then appointed Ferran Soriano who formerly worked for Barcelona, as club director. Ferran Soriano wanted to do something elusive. He wanted to build a global brand of football clubs which he couldn't, at Barcelona. But he was given the green light at Manchester City. So in 2014 the City Football Group came to be.

In the next years they built a global conglomerate of football clubs from around the world (10 in 5 continents). And by this they plan to achieve great things. The clubs futures are intertwined as all of them are perfect pieces of a finely moving machine. By having clubs in every corner, CFG is making a lot of fan engagements and thus making a lot money on that merchandise front. Plus they bankrolling all these clubs with proper planning will eventually bring success to all of them which results into more revenue.

The clubs share the player's profiles who play for the clubs, get inside news, and the smaller clubs of the company act as grooming ground for the bigger clubs. A perfect CFG operation will would look like this.

A new youngster rising through the ranks in their clubs owned in south America, who then moves to clubs like Girona FC for proper experience, then when he's ready he moves to Manchester City. After the peak of his career, he then moves the asian or north American clubs who are owned by CFG. A very thought after process and all the transfer money in the process stays within the company.

But, life isn't so easy as it seems. CFG also had their fair share of blames too. City was banned from playing the champions league for two years for supposed money laundering. Which was later rules out by CAS. But Manchester City was also fined in the process. Aside from that, the human rights, woman's rights, and stance against the LGBT community in the CFG owners' culture has also caused unrest. But apart from all that, it's a multi billion dollar business which is very future proof.
