¡Hola amigos de Hive! Dentro de unas horas se va disputar una jornada histórica y con mucha tradición del futbol de Inglaterra.

Todos los 26 de diciembre es la fecha más emblemática por los aficionados del fútbol ingles, se celebra el Boxing Day en Gran Bretaña.

La tradición cuenta que era el día que tenían libre los empleados de la aristocracia y abrían sus cajas con regalos y comida. Antes de 1950 la Liga de Inglaterra tenía una particularidad, se jugaban partidos el mismo día en el que se celebra Navidad y también al siguiente. No obstante, con el correr de los años eso se modificó a solo el 26, es decir, el día del Boxing Day.

La Asociación Inglesa de Fútbol planifica a tal punto este día que acomoda el calendario para que se enfrenten equipos de una misma ciudad o área, así los seguidores no pierden tiempo en viajar.

La aprobación es total, ese día los estadios alcanzan el 97% de su totalidad .
