Do you trust your government to do so? No need to answer.

Not in a reliable way, anyway. The watching.

Often climbing that hill. Lots of people do because they find some special treatment there. The one normally given to middlemen.

It's election day in less than a week and it's amazing listening to adults looking for honest middlemen who would watch over us all and do everything in our best interest.

That's what's promised, after all.

But why do we fall for it when we mostly know we're not going to get what we pay for?

Short answer is because we still pay for it, regardless.
