Two Half-days Of Hard Garden Work. My Actifit Report Card: June 7 2025

The Spring campaign that I spent so much time on has some results. It's new life, pruned fig, apple, and linden sticks taking new roots and becoming new trees instead of being just discarded, burned, or turned into mulch. It took a lot of special actions and planning... mostly finding proper space for the would-bes. Well, the ratio is a bit under 1 out of ten for the linden but the figs are doing quite better. As expected. It's too early to call it a win. Let them survive a couple of years, first.

Another good news is... all three of the olive trees that I thought had fatally frozen during the Winter turned out to be alive enough, their roots giving new twigs some chance to grow. There are fresh leaves 🍃. Perhaps next winter I shall take extra care for them, since they have given me another chance..

Oaks look fresh enough.

The rest is a jungle of grass and wild flowers as tall as I am or almost as tall. Cutting some paths must be done.
