My Actifit Report Card: March 22 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday we didn't even need to go on a walk to see our friends the deer. A group of four was just chilling in our front yard.
When Kaia finally saw them, she of course rushed to the fence. They all turned their head in her direction at the same time, but they didn't even flee. Luckily Kaia didn't jump the fence. We stayed there for a while, just watching them, well Kaia was barking a bit too!
Later we went for our long walk of the day, before nightfall. Funny, they cleaned part of the trails again.
But they stopped at the first main intersection, I guess they didn't know which direction to choose.
That's when Kaia went in full exploration mode.
For once we had time to enjoy more trails before it got really dark.
Kaia was begging to stay longer, but we finally walked back, but not after a few detours in the neighborhood.
And guess what I did to finish the day, yes more house cleaning... Not so much though, I was too tired. I'll work on it some more the next day.

Where I grew up in SW rural New Jersey, white-tailed deer were everywhere too! Here in Hawai'i we have wild pigs instead! I'm glad that you and Kaia are still able to get out onto the trails, even with your cleaning efforts! Happy weekend @manuvert! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
Thanks! Are wild pigs like boars, or not really? It's cool to have these wild animals around, but the deer population is actually starting to cause lots of trouble here in the city. They're cute though!
Just a few more cleaning days and I'll be on vacation!

Most definitely, you're very welcome! Yep, exactly, wild boars! Some have the domestic coloration of their ancestors, but most are black. Same thing with the wild pig population here, as they reproduce very quickly, and humans are their only predator. Yep, deer are super cute...baby pigs too! That's great to hear! I know Deer can cause a lot of damage to crops and property sometimes, but I still enjoy seeing them !LOL
