My Actifit Report Card: February 27 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday weather very unseasonably warm, reaching almost 75F (~ 23C) in the afternoon. Yes I know, it's not even March and it sounds like I'm already complaining about the heat. But this temperature in Michigan at this time of the year, that's just crazy! At least, we had some sunny moments, so we took some espressos breaks on the backyard deck.

As always, Kaia didn't stop moving the whole time we were outside. Pretty sure Le Chat got tired just watching her running around.

She's probably thinking: "why the hell is she wasting so much energy?..."

When we started our long walk of the day though, sun had disappeared and it was all gloomy.

We didn't wait for Le Chat behind the front yard and went directly to the forest with Kaia.

When we arrived in the forest, it was that time when it gets challenging to snap good photos. Not enough light for regular photos, but still too much light for night mode. And most photos get too much blue colors.

We made our usual loop outside the forest.

When we got back into the forest, it was fully dark. And surprisingly, that's kind of better for photos. Night mode can really perform.

Even if it's a bit blurry with moving subjects!

On our way back, we saw a lot more moving subjects. Considering the total darkness, I am once again pretty impressed with some of the resulting photos.

But on this next one, it looks like one of the deer doesn't have front legs!

As usual, the neighborhood was really quiet, perfect to add a couple more miles before walking home.
