My Actifit Report Card: June 14 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Like most days on week ends, yesterday started a bit late but we tried to make the most of the little time we had. As soon as we could, we started a long walk with Kaia. Surprisingly Le Chat had again decided it was an indoor kind of day, so she didn't follow us to the small forest behind the front yard.

That's why we almost immediately left for the bigger forest. Maybe it was because of the unexpected heat that Le Chat stayed inside. Even this cute red bird was trying to cool itself in the last few rain puddles on the pathway just before the forest.

We gave it a little time so it could finish its bath and we continued to the forest so we could be in the shade, at least partly.

We made pretty much the same usual stops along the same route.

Even if the heat was tough on Kaia (look at the tongue hanging out!), she chased a few critters.

And climbed on a few obstacles of course.

With such a sunny day, we met lots of people on the main trails, so we also visited a few less known ones.

I'm surprised this teepee is still up, I think it's been two weeks now. Maybe the city or whoever was taking them down, finally realized it wasn't dangerous.

And as usual, Kaia led us out, so we could walk home after a couple short detours in the neighborhood.

Well, it wasn't as long as usual on weekends because we had an event to attend in the evening, and just didn't have enough time, but it was still a nice walk. I'm pretty sure it was also a #Macfit day, so hopefully my final step count was good enough to reach the quarter finals.
