My Actifit Report Card: July 11 2025

With another very hot and humid day, yesterday was again a routine day where finding motivation wasn't easy. The rain in the morning and early afternoon made it feel even hotter than it was, so humid! At least we took several breaks in the yard, so Kaia and Le Chat could hang out.

When we started our daily walk behind the front yard, we found a rabbit. Of course, Kaia started chasing it, and it went across the street. I was worried for a second Kaia would repeat the mistake from a few weeks ago, but no, this time, she behaved very well and stopped at the street. Proud dog parent moment!

She did look everywhere on our side though, just in case other rabbits would still be around.

But no luck, so we headed towards the sunset near the bigger forest.

And finally entered the forest as it was already getting pretty dark.

It was once again only the short route through the trails anyways. That was enough for Kaia in this heat, not to mention the mosquitoes.

We met deer on the way back again. It was another test of the night mode on my phone and it was pretty good, just a little blurry.

Even after it got completely dark, I could still snap some decent pictures in the neighborhood, including reflections.

Well, this week is really staying in the routine, nothing out of the ordinary. And my step counts, although not too bad, were a bit lower. Let's hope we can do better over the week end. Although I think lots of house chores and clean up are on the schedule...
