My Actifit Report Card: August 24 2025

Hey Actifitters,

There was no choice yesterday, yard work was badly needed. But we warmed up with a long walk first of course.

Le Chat was scratching and exploring behind the front yard.

But Kaia showed up from nowhere, and can you see how fast Le Chat ran to her?

As usual, next stop was the forest. A deer fled just as we entered and a few seconds later we realized two young ones were still right there. No idea how Kaia missed them, but good thing she was still on-leash.

Checking the other side, we found the first one, probably the mother waiting for us to leave so she could reunite with her kids.

As I knew I still had lots to do at home, we chose the semi-long route.

And Kaia led us out of the forest as she does almost every day.

Just before getting out, we met these two fawns again at the very same place, they were just resting and apparently not so scared of us. But again, good thing I saw them first, so I could put the leash back on Kaia.

Rest of the afternoon was for yard work and relaxing, it wasn't all work! But once again, yard work saved me in #poprzeczka competition. I hope I can stay in it a few more days, as I really intend to go for a few runs this week. Let's see how it goes.
