My Actifit Report Card: September 12 2025

Hey Actifitters,

The strange warm up continues here. I'm sure most people are happy about it, but I'm not, I always wait for winter and snow! Anyways, we still tried to spend time in the yard yesterday, especially to check out the fall colors starting to show a bit.

Le Chat was just wondering what the hell we were doing.

Also behind the front yard, a little color, but really not much. I'm still surprised there is any at all, it's very early I think.

I think Le Chat really wants attention these days, she keeps following Kaia, and again with the headbutt!

There's a few areas in the neighborhood with more colors.

But the forest, just like the yard, is still mostly green.

We were a bit short on time because I wanted to go for a run before it got too dark. But Kaia still had enough time to find plenty of interesting scents.

And of course, we made our usual sunset stop.

On the way back, I was torn between getting back home as soon as possible for my run and enjoying more of these sunset views. We took an approach in the middle and enjoyed some of the views.

That meant I didn't have a lot of time left for my run. So I chose a shorter run, but slightly faster. In the end, about 8km with a pace under 5 min/km, it wasn't bad. 5 weeks to go before the Detroit half marathon...
