2000!!! - My Actifit Report Card: January 26 2026

Hey Actifitters,

Wow, hard to believe it's my 2000th Actifit report! I guess I didn't miss many days since I joined! Reports have changed quite a lot over time but the activities yesterday stayed pretty much the same. The good news compared to the previous day though is the sun was shining bright in the afternoon, in spite of what the forecast was trying to make us believe.

Of course, we went for our long daily walk with Kaia, starting at the small forest behind the front yard.

She started with a little exploration.

Then chased a few critters deeper in the forest.

And she can't resist a little jumping over the various obstacles.

We then continued to the bigger forest. We skipped it for several days, but on a beautiful day like that, it was a must.

Kaia chased a big group of deer, almost caught one too! Although, just like Genepi when he did catch one a long time ago, I'm not sure she'd know what to do if she did. Anyways, she'll keep trying and she'll climb as high as she needs to in order to find them.

Until she leads us out of the forest of course.

She didn't wait for us and was way too far ahead.

It was an opportunity to test her recall. She came back rushing. Not sure if she'd been so fast if other distractions were involved, but for a dog that I never formally trained, she does really good.

And that was it for the day's activities. Sun and snow, like I often day, it's the perfect combo. Temperatures will drop again and a little more snow is on the forecast. The last couple of weeks have been really good winter-wise, let's see how long it lasts.
