Second run...

I just finished a 7.247km running that lasted about 0hh:36mm:16ss !

Finally managed to string together two runs with just one rest day. That's the goal: a run every other day at least, and in between bike rides, or real rest days when needed. But damn did it feel harder than it should have! Of course, I had no target for pace, but I did want to run at least more distance than Saturday. I felt very heavy, which makes sense considering the extra pounds (just one week away on a business trip!) and sore from Saturday run. My back also was pretty stiff. So I started at a pace that felt slow enough. But I was surprised to see my first mile, albeit slow, was significantly faster than the first mile on Saturday. Of course, that extra energy didn't last long and I couldn't sustain the pace. In fact, my pace was kind of all over the place, not sure why it was inconsistent:

I finally changed the route compared to the last few runs. Since I went running earlier in daylight (the cover picture is deceiving because I snapped it afterwards during a walk with the dogs), I could go back to some other of my old favorite local streets to run. I also made sure to include a few extra loops early in the run, because I knew I might skip the extras when closer from home. And indeed, the end was another test of my will power, I really had to fight the urge to stop and just walk. But overall a decent run considering my current form. Like I said, I just need to find the consistency I used to have just a few weeks ago. Then hopefully I can make this table below look a little bit less unimpressive:
