Evening Run

I just finished a 9.128km running that lasted about 0hh:41mm:19ss !

Since I didn't run yesterday, and like I said I want to try and keep a frequency of at least a run every other day, I needed to run today. I went for a very similar route compared to last run. Maybe not the exact same streets but for sure the same area. But I didn't feel as well while running, so I cut it about 1km shorter. However, when I see my average pace at 7:17 min/mile which is slightly better than last run, I'm thinking maybe I should have run a little longer. Anyways, it was a decent run, and now that I feel okay again around that pace, I got to start mixing in faster/shorter runs, and longer runs at that same pace. Maybe this week end, I'll go for some speed work at the running track.

Once again, lots of wildlife, mostly deer of course, and I also scared off a few rabbits. But I'm so used not to see any human that I was mostly focused on the ground, making sure not to trip on something once it got dark. So, I completely forgot to also pay attention to what was in front of me, and almost got hit by a bike. He had two bright lights, so it's completely my fault but luckily he swerved one way, and I was lucky to swerve the other way. It was just a reflex, it could have gone the other way... That really scared me, and after that I was really careful!

More running planned for the week end, but I gotta see when I can fit it in. Till then, keep Exhausting!
