My Actifit Report Card: Please welcome my friend to her new awaiting home. Drop your wish for her. March 29 2024.

There are many fishes in the ocean but it takes deep sense to catch the good ones. Yea, it's only the man of understanding and good sense that can find the precious woman whose worth is higher than that of Rubi.

Ohh, today is the pre-awaiting day lolz. Don't query me over that statement until you're done reading.

Yesterday, I traveled to my friends village in preparation for the paying of her bridal price. For her wedding is coming up tomorrow.

So early in the morning, we started cooking varieties of dishes including swallow, rice, plantain, salad and many more.

By 10:30 am, her make-up artist arrived to decorate her face and to adorn her in an appropriate way for her husband-to-be.

Take a look at the pictures I captured during the process.

by 1:00pm, the man of honor arrived with his kinsmen and family. Here in my city, the groom must come with some of his friends and matured men and women including his kinsmen for the paying of dowry or bride's price.

As the man (Groom to be) arrived, his inlaw welcomed him peacefully and immediately he caught sight of his bride-to-be, demanded to snap a picture with her but his inlaw objected because he haven't paid the bride price. At that, he calmed down and told all of us including the inlaw that he must surely take some copies with his wife-to-be before departing the environment and we all supported him and that led to great laughter and joy.

After a while, they all were gathered in a separate room for the paying of bride price. At that, I and my Friend was busy outside snapping cool pictures.

After a while, they invited the girl to present herself before them so as to be sure she's the one the guy came to pay her bride prize.

Done with that, she came back and we started our gist from the junction we stopped lolz.

About 30 minutes later, the occasion ended and we started sharing food and drinks to our inlaws and visitors.

Sorry, I was unable to capture the foods we shared to avoid causing one to salivate from afar because the economic condition of we Nigerians is too dry that we don't even play with food lolz 😂.

Alright, the all awaiting moment arrived and the guy enjoyed the company of his bride-to-be by having the full right to take some shots with her.

At the end, both inlaws and the potential or will I say, the latest husband and wife took cool selfies

I stayed back to make sure I helped in arranging things and to make sure there is no dirty pot or plate.

My wish and prayer to my friend

• Whatever is her wish and whatever is her husband's desire that corresponds with the will of God should reach their hands.

• Also, as it's her desire to have children, may Jehovah my God and her God grant her peaceful journey throughout pregnancy and may she always come out from labor room happily.

• Let her husband's family accept her in their midst as if she's their immediate family member.

• Also, Let her adorn herself with good manners and to accept every member of her husband's family.

• Let the husband's love for her never die and let her always show some measures of deep respect to her husband.

• Let their love and life endure down to old age.
