Went to a restaurant called Rehab Burger Therapy. We had to wait to get in - worth the wait for sure.
The portions were huge and we took lots home. Even ended up with a dang plastic bag 😟

Strange name for a restaurant! Is there a story behind it? The only thing I really know about Phoenix is that Milton Erikson lived there. He was a really cool hypnotherapist (I studied hypnotherapy when I was a psychiatric nurse).
All you need to know about Phoenix is that it gets really, really hot there lol
And it is kind of in the middle between my husband and I - well, you don't need to know that but I am telling you anyway lol
It is a huge city build in the desert. Very stupid of course, but many come here because there are a lot of jobs.
And many come here in the winter to flee from the terrible weather of their respective states- especially retired people.
The story behind the restaurant is that 3 people coming originally from respectively motherhood, professional ballplayer, musician and found themselves working in a Pizza joint. They helped build it into a mini chain - exhausting work.
One day, they all BBQed together and thought that it was like a therapy. Standing around the grill and eating yummy burgers.
They took the plunge and opened their own place.
Twelve years later, there is a line out the door if you want to eat there :)
And I have to say, it was the best burger I have ever had.
Brilliant! I knew there'd be a story!
