Went to Window Rock shopping today. First stop: our favorite Navajo owned coffee stand. I think it is the only one on the Nation.
When I am here, I always try to support them.
Walked a bunch when we got back home 😀

Nice sunny weather, do you prefer hiking in summer or winter?
That is a good question. In San Diego, it never gets much below freezing and the summers can be very hot. So, in the winter, you are a little cold starting out early in the morning but it is not too hot when you finish.
In the summer, it can be already hot at 7 AM, and then, hiking becomes difficult. It is easy to overheat.
Where I am right now, it gets very cold and it can snow. Walking in sunshine and snow is fun with the right clothing, but on a grey day with really low temps, it is not much fun.
