Despite heavy rainfall, I was not disappointed by the birds I fed. There was also a squirrel, probably tempted by nuts in any festive form.
Mimo obfitych opadów nie zawiodły mnie dokarmiane ptaki. Pojawiła się również wiewiórka skuszona prawdopodobnie orzechami w wszelakiej świątecznej jeszcze postaci.
Of course, the jay, being a bit of a nasty bird, effectively chased away the small tits. But I also have a way to deal with it. I throw her a whole walnut. It cannot consume it on site, so it takes it to its nest or hiding place. Then the little tits have time for themselves and calmly consume the nuts.
Sójka oczywiście jako trochę wredny ptaszek skutecznie przeganiała małe sikorki. Ale na nią mam też sposób. Rzucam jej całego orzecha włoskiego. Nie może go skonsumować na miejscu, więc zabiera go do gniazda lub kryjówki. Wtedy małe sikorki mają czas dla siebie i spokojnie konsumują orzeszki.
The weather forecasts for the coming days are not optimistic. A brutal winter and lots of snow are expected to return. I hope the predictions are wrong.
