Sunday for a walk but also in the kitchen

Today is the day to sum up the gardening season, and to prevent my fruit from going to waste, I decided to seal it in jars and pasteurize it. It wasn't much, just four jars, but it's always something to do. I hope to experience the flavors of my own mini-plantation this winter.

Dzisiaj nadszedł dzień podsumowania ogrodniczego sezonu, i aby moje owoce nie zmarniały, postanowiłem je zamknąć w słojach i pasteryzować. Nie było tego wiele, bo raptem 4 słoiki, ale zawsze to jakieś zajęcie. Mam nadzieję że zimą poczuję smaki z własnej mini planacji.

The weather may not have been the best, but it wasn't too bad. Tomorrow, it's either mushroom picking or an open-air museum.

Może pogoda nie rozpieszczała, ale nie było najgorzej. Jutro albo grzybki, albo skansen.

Birds have begun to appear in droves in the park. Magpies, crows, tits, and jays are all pressing in with great force—could an early winter be upon us after all?

W parku zaczęły pojawiać się masowo ptaki. Sroki, wrony, sikorki i sójki napierają z dużą siłą - czyżby jednak miała nadejść wczesna zima?
