Between medicines and consultation: A day of care[Eng/Esp]
Greetings community, what a joy to be here, today I want to share with you what I did today. I started my day by making a juice for my dad so I could take him to get his antibiotic.
My husband took us to a health center and, because it was early, it was not open, so I had to look for another place where he could get the antibiotic at 6 a.m. and I went to the fire station.
I left there happy and went home to give breakfast to my family. At 10:30 a.m., we went to the maxillofacial doctor because I had a consultation.
It had been eight days since his surgery and they wanted to see how he had evolved all these days. While we were there, he saw that everything was going well, he told us that he should continue to wash where he had the operation, avoid whistling, making sounds when he eats, blowing his nose...
Next Tuesday he is going to check him again, so we said our goodbyes and left. He had lunch at 2pm, I took him back to the fire station for another dose.
Later that afternoon, I went to buy 15 antibiotics for the remaining five days. Then, at 10 p.m., I returned to the fire station to give my dad his third daily dose.

This is how I spent my day, and this is how I will continue until I finish the treatment. Given the above, I must say that I cannot afford to pay for a nurse because it is expensive.
I have to go to this public service, which has given me support and whose attention has been good. I tried to administer the medicine at home to avoid leaving the house as well.
But on Sunday, when it was time for my dad's 10 p.m. dose, the solution did not want to go down to the drip chamber. Since I made the suggestions that my brother indicated to me in order to administer the antibiotic, it was not possible.

Saludos comunidad, qué alegría estar aquí, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes lo que hice hoy. Inicié mi día haciendo un jugo para mi papá y para así poderlo llevar a que le administren el antibiótico.
Mi esposo nos llevó a un centro de salud y, por ser temprano, no estaba abierto, así que tuve que buscar otro sitio donde le pudieran administrar el antibiótico a las 6 a. m. y fui a la estación de bomberos.
Salí feliz de allí, me fui a la casa, a darle el desayuno a mi familia. Ya siendo las 10:30 am, nos fuimos al el doctor maxilofacial porque tenía consulta.
Habían pasado ocho días de su operación y querían ver cómo él ha evolucionado todos estos días. Estando ahí, vio que todo iba bien, nos dijo que debía seguir haciendo los lavados donde se operó, evitar silbar, hacer sonido cuando come, sonarse la nariz…
El próximo martes lo va a revisar nuevamente, así que nos despedimos y nos fuimos. Se almorzó siendo las 2 de la tarde, lo volví a llevar a la estación de bomberos para la otra dosis.
Mas tardes fui a comprar 15 antibióticos para los cinco días que faltan...Luego a las 10 de la noche volvi a los bomberos para cumplir la tercera dosis diaria que le corresponden a mi papá.

De esta manera me pasé el día, y así continuaré hasta terminar con el tratamiento.Por lo antes planteado, debo decir que no tengo para pagar a una enfermera porque es costoso.
Tengo que acudir a este servicio público, que me ha brindado el apoyo y cuya atención ha sido buena. La administración de la medicina intenté hacerla en la casa para evitar salir de casa también.
Pero el domingo, cuando le tocaba la dosis a las 10 de la noche a mi papá, la solución no quería bajar a la cámara de goteo. En vista de que hice las sugerencias que me indicaba mi hermano para poder administrar el antibiótico, no fue posible.
Lo importante acá es que solucione..., ya con esto me despido de todos ustedes y nos vemos en otra próxima publicación.

Saludos amiga, un recorrido con diligencia, es tremendo lo que cuentas de tu papá, en realidad pagar una enfermera es bastante costoso, pero gracias a Dios estás resolviendo de alguna manera, hasta que termine el tratamiento.
Dios les bendiga y ayudé en todo.
Si pude resolver,es costoso y si uno lo puede hacer o consigue un centro de salud que lo haga es mejor. Ya terminó el tratamiento gracias a Dios.
