Today, more than a post about something nice to tell you, I come a little sad to tell you a reality that until today I refused to accept.

For those of you who have been reading me for some time, you know that since I was 17 years old I risked a lot to fulfill my dream of studying medicine, moving to a city where I did not know anyone and leaving all the comforts I could have at home, that is more of the same that I have told you several times but today I have something different to say: Lately I feel that it is a topic that demotivates me a lot, I will explain why: since I started my career I have lived many experiences, difficult moments and days without sleeping well with the purpose of studying but despite all the tiredness I could feel I always thought it was part of a bigger plan, LEARN! So everything was that "perfect" (it was never perfect but there was a stage in which I felt I was achieving my goal little by little) for a while, but in March 2019 after several days of not knowing what would happen because of the pandemic situation finally they suspended all my classes and we were in a "We'll see" to avoid crowds and contagions.... After that everything changed.

We spent about 6 months before hearing from the university while I saw how many universities were still in online mode, which put us in doubt because how will we see medicine online? Something that is so delicate and that mostly consists of practices and so the months went by until finally in August (5 months later) a professor of 5 professors who dictated my anatomy subject pronounced saying that we would finish the semester online, this genre too many complications in several students but finally it was achieved and for me it would not have been possible without @LucianaV who lent me her house (and internet) so I could present, BUT when everything was being "fixed" they decreed again a quarantine in the whole country and we were all cold waiting for the response from the university since we had already fallen behind and postponing the beginning of a new semester did not seem the most viable thing to do. A new online semester started (with some face-to-face classes) and with that several problems like professors who choose to give online classes but demand only face-to-face evaluations when their classes leave us with more questions than answers, professors with 0 empathy with the internet issue who assume that absolutely everyone has a fast internet that will not leave any page hung, all that and more problems I have experienced during this online mode.

That semester ended and another one began in the same way, it has been almost 3 years since the quarantine began and I had never felt so distant from my university career, first of all because I feel that I am not learning much since the people who should be our guides often respond to us with a link to a Youtube video of themselves where absolutely nothing is understood, you end up searching and learning little on your own and at the end of the day you realize that there is no one guiding you, only someone evaluating a content that "explained", I know that many people will say that college is like that but hey! I also lived the experience of an on-site university and I assure you that it doesn't feel anything like this, where the biggest problems turn out to be if I looked pretty in the video I recorded for the seminar (exhibition) or if the internet will take too long uploading the homework, when our problems as students should be with the doorman of the hospital that doesn't let us enter without the gown hahahaha. This will sound a little nerdy on my part but you have no idea how much I miss face-to-face classes, where class schedules are not respected by professors and they don't think that because it is online at any time (I swear I have seen classes on Sundays at 7pm by zoom), I miss meeting with my friends outside of school to discuss about a class or meet in large groups to study an important partial, many people think there is no difference because the one who wants to study does it and the one who wants to learn, learns! But that is totally false, to be honest I have never been a brainiac in college that usually study even what they said I was not going, but I think that feeling the responsibility of going to a place and having a teacher who you understood a class makes me feel more committed to the situation, the truth is that all this makes me feel disappointed and unmotivated, to the point of having many accumulated tasks .... I'm sorry, I swear I will put more effort into it but I also hope that this mode ends soon.

With nothing more to say then, I say goodbye and I hope to soon tell you that I'm already looking forward to more in-person classes haha!

Espero que les haya gustado mi post!💕

I hope you liked my post!💕
