Zinadine Zidane - Pen Drawing

Hello everyone!

Today, I want to share with you my new art work. It's a portrait drawing of a legendary and former France and Real Madrid footballer by name Zinadine Zidane.

He has also coached Real Madrid FC and won numerous trophies with the notable one being a record of three sucessive UEFA Champions league titles.

In this piece, I started out by taking a shot of the skeletal process before sketching the online sketch. That is usually done to help get the eye line, nose line and mouth line.

After I was convinced my outline sketch was all right, I proceeded in building my forms. I really like how realistic the piece turned out.

The portrait was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used scribble technique to create this piece.

But writing with a pen is fine. When the turn comes after making a figure. So the brain stops at a difficult mode. Still you have drawn very well. It is impossible for me.

Drawing with pen requires different mindset when compared to writing with pen.. it's something you will have to learn and develop.
