[Esp-Eng] Sorpresa Colombiana en la Serie del Caribe, conoce lo Sucedido Aquí
Hola mis queridos amigos de la comunidad Full Deportes, hoy les presento mi opinión sobre la sorpresa inédita que protagonizaron Los Caimanes de Barranquilla al titularse campeones de la Serie del Caribe 2022.
Una Serie del Caribe renovada, luego de 3 años de pandemia, que han golpeado duramente a eventos deportivos como este, se presentan con un nuevo esquema, invitando a dos equipos Panamá y Colombia, con el objeto de hacer más vistoso el evento.
Del 28 de Enero al 3 de febrero, la fiesta beisbolista inundó a Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, los Gigantes del Cibao se presentaban como los grandes favoritos, para alzar el campeonato, debido a la localía y una plantilla magistral de beisbolistas.
Junto con ellos participaron grandes clubes como:
✓ Charros de Jalisco, México.
✓Criollos de Cagua, Puerto Rico.
✓ Navegantes del Magallanes, Venezuela.
✓Astronautas de los Santos Panamá.
✓Caimanes de Barranquilla, Colombia.
Hello my dear friends of the Full Deportes community, today I present my opinion on the unprecedented surprise that starred Los Caimanes de Barranquilla to be titled champions of the Caribbean Series 2022.
A renewed Caribbean Series, after 3 years of pandemic, which have hit hard to sporting events like this, are presented with a new scheme, inviting two teams Panama and Colombia, in order to make the event more colorful.
From 28 January to 3 February, the baseball party flooded into Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Gigantes del Cibao were presented as the favourites to win the championship, due to the locality and a masterful team of baseball players.
Along with them participated great clubs such as:
✓ Charros de Jalisco, Mexico.
✓ Criollos de Cagua, Puerto Rico.
✓ Navegantes del Magallanes, >Venezuela.
✓ Astronauts of Los Santos >Panama.
✓Caimanes de Barranquilla, >Colombia.
Así comienza este transitar por la Serie, Colombia se presenta como la Cenicienta, con solo dos participaciones nefastas en este evento deportivo, dónde no había alcanzado victoria alguna, inicia la serie dando un estacazo a Venezuela en su primer partido, ganando 6-1, mostrando un picheo excepcional, acompañado de gran ofensiva.
Con una plantilla combinada entre experiencia y juventud, de peloteros de Dominicana, Venezuela y Colombia va a su segundo encuentro y le gana a Panamá por la mínima 6 carreras a 5.
Continúa la participación Colombiana teniendo únicamente dos reveses ante México y Puerto Rico, pero ganando los juegos bonitos con los favoritos de la contienda, como lo eran República Dominicana y Venezuela.
Así se termina la fase inicial, con una tabla de posiciones mostrando a Dominicana sólida en el primer lugar, seguida por Venezuela, Colombia y México, dando de esta formas las llaves de las semifinales que serían
Dominicana vs. México.

Thus begins this journey through the Series, Colombia is presented as the Cinderella, with only two disastrous participations in this sporting event, where he had not achieved any victory, starts the series giving a staking to Venezuela in their first game, winning 6-1, showing an exceptional pitching, accompanied by great offense.
With a combined youth and experience squad of players from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Colombia, they went to their second game and beat Panama by the minimum 6 runs to 5.
Colombia's participation continued with only two setbacks against Mexico and Puerto Rico, but winning the good games against the favourites of the competition, such as the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
Thus ended the initial phase, with the Dominican Republic solidly in first place, followed by Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico, giving in this way the keys to the semifinals, which were as follows
Dominican Republic vs. Mexico.
Venezuela vs. Colombia.
Con estos resultados llegamos a las semifinales, dónde Colombia se presenta ante Venezuela siendo la más débil en papel, pero al llegar al terreno de juego la compenetración del equipo, una dirección impecable, sumándole defensa, picheo y ofensiva hicieron de Colombia un equipo insuperable, logrando la victoria 8-1 ante Venezuela.
En este momento Colombia empieza a soñar y con el ánimo y la gallardía en su clímax, llega a la final frente a una Dominicana toda poderosa, la cual fue maniatada y superada ampliamente por Colombia con una contundente victoria 4-1 para titularse campeones de la serie.
Mucho se habla de este histórico campeonato, algunos dicen que fue suerte, al final del día Colombia es campeón de la Serie del Caribe y con hechos demuestra la evolución de su béisbol, las casualidades en el mundo del deporte no existen.
Un aplauso de pie para los Caimanes de Barranquilla, flamantes campeones de la Serie del Caribe, Santo Domingo 2022.
With these results we arrived at the semifinals, where Colombia faced Venezuela as the weakest team on paper, but when they arrived on the field, the team's understanding, an impeccable direction, adding defence, pitching and offence made Colombia an unbeatable team, achieving an 8-1 victory over Venezuela.
At this moment, Colombia began to dream and with the spirit and gallantry at its climax, they reached the final against a powerful Dominican Republic, who were crushed and overpowered by Colombia with a resounding 4-1 victory to become champions of the series.
Much is said about this historic championship, some say it was luck, at the end of the day Colombia is champion of the Caribbean Series and with facts demonstrates the evolution of its baseball, coincidences in the world of sport do not exist.
A standing ovation for the Caimanes de Barranquilla, brand new champions of the Caribbean Series, Santo Domingo 2022.
